Carlo's Snowboarding Class
Carlo started snowboarding lessons at Hermon Mountain the second week of February. The mountain is about 20 minutes away and is one of the smaller ski mountains. He had 5 classes lasting about 1 hour and there were about 5 kids in his class. The fee for the class included the snowboard and boot rental, which was great. (Snowboarding equipment is expensive!) The first class was all the basics and getting set up on the board (and getting used to how cold it was when the sun went down!). By the third class he was doing some actual snowboarding and getting high 5's from the instructor. He ended up loving the class and wanted to take more but this was the last class for the season. So we have to wait until next winter but he is already talking about when he can take more lessons!
Coming down the little slope and making a left turn, woohoo!

The Next Batch of Snow in Bangor
Well we got more snow, which isn't bad but I think we are all starting to long for those warmer days ahead. Now that this is the 4th storm we've had, the snow banks are pretty big! It is so much fun for the kids and it makes for great snowboarding!
The snow came down full force and even covered the holes on the fence!
