Christmas Eve Dinner

We spent Christmas Eve with our friends the Darcys this year. We went out to a local chinese restaurant called Green Tea that we went to last year. The food was very good and the best part was that I didn't have to cook! We also saw our friends the Kendalls who had the same thought we did! It was nice to relax and go home to have a quiet evening.

3rd Annual Mazzarelli Christmas Brunch

We had our brunch again in honor of the Christmas season and to spend time with all of our friends. It was a good turn out this year. As always, Carl made stuffed french toast, waffles and omelettes to name a few. There was sooo much food and we ate left overs for almost a week! It was so nice to catch up with friends and the kids of course had a great time. This is one of our favorite traditions since we have moved to Maine. I hope it lasts for many years to come!

The Christmas Parade in Downtown Bangor

We went downtown to the Christmas parade with our friends the Tlili's. It was a pretty evening, not too cold but half way through the parade it starting snowing and it got pretty cold. We made it to the end of the parade, saw Santa and ran to the car! The parade was fairly long so once it got cold everyone got a little cranky. But it was great to spend time with good friends for a holiday tradition.

11/29/09

Continuing the tradition of Muzzi Sunday, Carl and Charlene hosted while we were in town. We were able to see many other family members we had not seen in a while. It was great for the kids to get reaquainted with everyone and hang out with the new members of the family. As usual it was loud and busy, but as always the food was great and it was great to catch up.

Earlier that day the kids decorated my Mom's Christmas tree. We put Christmas music on and Phia put the ornaments on that weren't breakable on and Carlo did all the rest. This is one of Carlo's favorite things to do and he does it very well. The kids continued decorating until it was perfect. My Mom said she didn't even have to move anything!
