Sophia On Her Big Girl Bike!

Sophia just got her first big girl bike from her friend Silvia. Silvia got her new bike from her sister Leila and Leila got a new one at the local bike swap. We put the training wheels on and off she went. It almost doesn't seem possible that she is riding a 2 wheeler! She looked so big and so confident. She still needed a little help now and then but she is so proud!

Sophia In All Her Glory!

Sophia got a hand-me-down dress from her friend Silvia. Now the dress was definately made for the Holidays but she insisted on wearing it. Luckily it was not too warm out because the dress was double layer lace on the bottom and red velvet on the top! Oh baby!

Easter Sunday

So the Mazzarelli children were up at 5:15 on Easter morning! They couldn't give us until 6 or so? Not only did the Easter Bunny visit our house one of our neighbors sits a basket for each kid on the front porch. They love all the candy and gifts. I think Sophia ate an entire solid chocolate bunny by lunch time! Needless to say most of their candy was gone within a couple of days.

Carlo's Other Birthday Gift

Carlo has been wanting new fish since Reds and Jelly died. So for his birthday we agreed to get him a fish tank and a few fish. He promised to take care of them but being 7 and all we knew that he probably would take care of them when he felt like it. The tank we got has a heater and a filter so less work for Carl and I. We had to let the tank warm up before we got the fish. So in the picture there are no fish yet. Stay tuned!

It looks crooked but it isn't! The plants are glow in the dark! Carlo loves that part.

Carlo's Birthday Party!

This year Carlo wanted a Star Wars themed party. We kept it small with only his good friends that he always plays with. He decided he wanted a Yoda cake and I took on the challenge! It wasn't the easiest thing to do but it came out way better than I thought it would. He really liked it too!

Carlo's New Bike

Carlo decided he wanted a new bike for his birthday. So the weekend before his birthday seemed like a good time to let him pick one out. The weather was great and he could use the bike as much as he wanted. His old bike was getting rusty and a little small. He picked out a blue one that was the next size up. It fits him well and seems to love it. He got to ride his new bike with all his friends in the neighborhood.

Chick Hill Adventure....The Boys!

Carl and Carlo decided to take an adventure when we had some unlikely warm weather to Chick Hill. It is located in Clifton, ME about 40 minutes away. Well worth the trip for all the beautiful sites! They went with friends Adam and Addsion and the dogs (Oliver and Marley) of course. They did some hiking and had some lunch while they were there. Everyone came back exhausted! Carlo described it as "beautiful nature". It can't get much better than that!
