Phia's Birthday
For Sophia's real birthday I sent cupcakes to school and when she got home we went out to dinner at Governors per her request. They sang Happy Birthday to her and gave her a big brownie with whip cream, which she just loved! After dinner we went home stuffed, and had cake that I made. Tracy and Addison joined us for small birthday celebration with my poorly decorated cake! Tracy missed out on the cake for Phia's party so I thought they would enjoy it! As always Phia went for the icing and licked all the icing off her piece, handed me the icingless cake and said " I all done Mama" Oh well, whatever makes her happy!

Mother's Day
Carlo and Sophia greeted me in bed with breakfast and it was all Carlo's idea! He is becoming so thoughtful! Then he gave me my cards and all the things he had made for me. I felt so loved! And, while I was eating my cereal Sophia decided she needed some cereal too...yes, it spilled on the bed! But in light of Mother's Day I let it go. Oh well. She was sad it happened too. Carl had to work mandatory overtime at his job so he was not home. The kids and I had a great, relaxing day at home. Who could ask for more?

Sophia's Third Birthday Party
Sophia wanted an Ariel (Little Mermaid) party this year. We invited her friends from school and some neighborhood friends. There were about 16 kids at the party including Sophia and Carlo. Unfortunately, we spent a majority of the party inside but it seemed like everyone had fun. Sophia was a little cranky that day but perked up later. Overall, she had a blast and really enjoyed the cake and presents!

Mother/ Son Dance
The city of Bagor sponsored a "Mother/Son Dance" one evening. Carlo had heard about it in school and was so excited. He got all spiffied up with his tie and got ready for our "date". It was so cute to see all the boys with their Moms and how most of the kids were more interested in running around and hitting each other with balloons! But it was great, Carlo and I danced a few songs together. Carlo and his friends spent most of their time at the snack bar with the cookies, brownies and punch! That gave me time to chat with some of my friends too. We had a busy weekend planned so we left a little early. I think Carlo was a great date!
