A Fun Evening with Our Friends

We spent the evening with our friends Max and Emily and their little ones. We had a cook out, the kids played (and fought a little too!) and spent the night at their new house. The kids had a great time playing in the big yard and it gave the parents time to catch up a little. I guess the kids were really excited and no one really fell asleep until very late and the kids did not sleep well. Which meant minimal quiet time for the adults! Everyone was all smiles though when Emily made pancakes and they got to have breakfast together. We woke up to a very humid day, something we are not used to and set off for an afternoon with Nana and Grandmom.
