The Abraham Lincoln Spring Fair

Carlo's school has an annual spring fair that is sort of like a fund raiser but meant to be exciting for the kids too. They had hamburgers and hotdogs, games, a dunk tank and many more fun things for the kids and parents to do. Unfortunately the weather was kind of cool, breezy and rainy. Surprisingly the dunk tank was in full action despite the cool weather and everyone was having a blast. The other attraction that a lot of kids got involved in was the "cake walk". Many cakes, pies and cupcakes were donated for this event. It was kind of like musical chairs but walking and when the music stopped a lady picked a number and if it was your number you got to pick the cake of your choice! Carlo was one of the winners and so was his friend Addison. She picked cupcakes in small potters with a flower and gave one to each of her friends! She is so sweet. Carlo picked our a cake shaped like a heart with chocolate icing. Eventually everyone ended up on the playground even though it was yucky out .
